An Act relative to long-term care payment options.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
Section 3 of chapter 176U of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2014 Official Edition, is hereby amended by adding the following subsection:-
(m) Any policy or rider advertised, marketed or offered as long-term care insurance or nursing home insurance shall permit the policyholder or certificate holder, or a representative thereof to pay any premium due by the debit of a bank account and other electronic forms of payment.
