An Act to add a compulsory death benefit to automobile liability insurance.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1.  Section 34A of chapter 90 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2016 Official Edition, is hereby amended, in line 109, by inserting after the words “such a policy” the following:- provided, however, that in instances of death to a person survived by a minor child, spouse, or dependent parents, said limit shall be not less than $100,000 per decedent, which amount shall not be subject to any liens.
