An Act providing full student representation on the University of Massachusetts Board of Trustees.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 1A of Chapter 75 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2012 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking out, in line 2, the word “Nineteen” and inserting in place thereof the following word:- “Twenty-two.”
SECTION 2. The first paragraph of said section 1A of said Chapter 75, as so appearing, is hereby amended by striking out, in line 2, the word “Two” and inserting in place thereof the following word:- “Five.”
SECTION 3. The first paragraph of said section 1A of said Chapter 75, as so appearing, is hereby amended by striking out the last two sentences and inserting in place thereof the following sentence: - “The student members shall be elected annually by the student body of the Amherst, Boston, Dartmouth, Lowell, and Worcester campuses.”
