An Act relative to emergency housing.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
Subsection (B) of section 30 of chapter 23B of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2014 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting after the first paragraph the following paragraph:-
An individual or family that submits to the department a letter from their landlord, or a notice or order from a judge of the commonwealth, verifying that the individual or family has been evicted or that their tenancy is otherwise terminated shall be considered eligible for emergency housing assistance.
