Section 1. Section 14B of Chapter 269 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2016 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting, after subsection a, the following:-
(a1/2) Whoever willfully and maliciously makes or causes to be made 1 or more silent calls to any PSAP and thereby causes emergency services to be dispatched 1 or more times to a school shall be punished by imprisonment in a house of corrections for not more than 1 year, by a fine of up to $500, or by both such fine and imprisonment.
