An Act creating a youth wage.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

Section 1 of chapter 151 of the General Laws is hereby amended by adding at the end of the first paragraph the following:—

"This section shall not apply to workers under 18 years of age who work less than 20 per week. For said workers under the age of 18 who work less than 20 hours per week the federal minimum wage pursuant to 29 U.S.C. § 206 shall apply."
