An Act to protect water resources.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 39J of chapter 40 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2016 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting in line 22, after the word “facilities”, the following words:-
provided further, that the pricing system shall consider the cost to evaluate and mitigate the effect of climate change on water supply reservoirs in order to ensure the protection of the resource and surrounding property owners.
