An Act relative to equitable board representation.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

Section 1.

Section 13 of chapter 13 of the General Laws is hereby amended by striking out the word “17” and replacing it with the word “20” and by striking subsection (c)(2) of section 12 of chapter 13 and replacing it with the following section:-

(2) five registered nurses in advanced practice, representing each clinical category of advanced practice, each of whom must meet requirements for authorization as a registered nurse in advanced practice as established by the board, at least three of whom is employed providing direct patient care at the time of appointment;
