An Act relative to Law Enforcement Officers Safety Act.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
Section 131 of chapter 140, as appearing in the 2014 Official Edition, is hereby amended by appending the following section (131R)
For the purposes of Public Law No: 108-277 (Law Enforcement Officers Safety Act or LEOSA) all current and retired Massachusetts corrections officers and Massachusetts department of public safety officers shall qualify without exception unless explicitly disqualified by the provisions within LEOSA.
