An Act relative to negative equity.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 96 of chapter 140 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2016 Official Edition, is hereby amended, at the end thereof, by inserting the following new paragraph:-
“This section shall not apply to any transactions engaged in pursuant to a license granted under any other section of this chapter or section 2 of chapter 255B.”
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
