An Act relative to employees of the Department of Fire Services.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1. Section 3 of Chapter 32 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2016 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting in line 330, after the word “affairs” the following words:- , full time employees of the department of fire services in the executive office of public safety and security, provided they have previously been full time members of a fire department of any city, town, fire district, Devens, the 104th Fighter Wing Fire Department or the Massachusetts Military Reservation Fire Department, for ten years of more, and had previously been classified in group 4.

SECTION 2.   Section 3 of Chapter 32 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 20146 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting in lines 331 and 332 after the word “marshal” in each instance, the following words:- "deputy state fire marshal and the director of the training division"
