An Act exempting Ryan M. Charette from the maximum age requirement for appointment as a firefighter in the town of Dracut.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1. Notwithstanding chapter 31 of the General Laws or any other general or special law to the contrary, Ryan M. Charette, shall be eligible to have his name certified for original appointment to the position of firefighter for Town of Dracut, notwithstanding having reached the age of 32 before taking any civil service examination in connection with that appointment.

SECTION 2. Ryan M. Charette, shall be eligible for appointment to the position of firefighter in the Town of Dracut, if he otherwise qualifies and is selected for employment under chapter 31 of the General Laws, regulations of the civil service commission and any lawful hiring practices for the Town of Dracut.
