An Act authorizing the Massachusetts Teachers' Retirement System to grant creditable service to Thomas Richard Kinsky.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Notwithstanding the provisions of Chapter 32 of the General Laws or any other General or special laws to the contrary, the Massachusetts teachers’ retirement system shall credit Thomas Richard Kinsky, an employee of Old Rochester Regional School District, with creditable service for the service he rendered at Northern Marianas School District in Saipan, MP from July 22, 1995 to July 22, 1999 as a classroom teacher for the purpose of determining his retirement allowance.
SECTION 2. Eligibility for this creditable service shall be conditioned upon payment by Thomas Richard Kinsky to the Massachusetts teachers’ retirement system in an amount equal to that which would have been withheld as regular deductions from his regular compensation for such previous service plus interest, in one lump sum or installments, as the Massachusetts teachers’ retirement board shall proscribe.
