An Act to include collaborative employees in group 2 classification.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
Section 1. Section 3 of chapter 32 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2016 Official Edition, is hereby amended in subsection (g) by striking out, in lines 262 and 263 the words “employees of Cushing hospital;”
Section 2. Said section 3 of chapter 32, as so appearing, is hereby further amended by striking out, in lines 275 through 280, the words “and employees of the commonwealth or of any county whose regular and major duties require them to have the care, custody, instruction or other supervision of parolees or persons who are mentally ill or mentally defective or defective delinquents or wayward children and employees of Cushing hospital”, and inserting in place thereof the following:—
“and employees of the commonwealth, of any county or of any educational collaborative, including collaborative teachers, whose regular and major duties require them to have the care, custody, instruction or supervision of parolees or persons who have a mental illness or an intellectual, social or emotional disability”
