An Act relative to public safety employee death benefits.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1: Section 100A of chapter 32 of the General Laws is hereby amended by inserting after the words “correction officer” in line 21, as appearing in the 2016 Official Edition, the words “and Department of Public Works employee”.
SECTION 2: This act shall take effect as of January 1, 2020.
