An Act to grant A. John Crisafulli three years of creditable service.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1. Notwithstanding the provisions of paragraph (h) of subdivision (1) of section 4 of chapter 32 of the General Laws or of any other general or special law or rule or regulation to the contrary, A. John Crisafulli of the town of Natick, a member inactive of the teachers’ retirement system who has been retired and who is receiving a retirement allowance and who served in the armed forces of the United States between 1950 and 1953, shall be entitled to credit for such service in the armed forces of the United States; provided further, that any increase in the amount of retirement allowance for such member shall be effective beginning, January 1, 2020.
