An Act relative to public safety line of duty benefits.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Subsection (c) of section 100A of chapter 32, as appearing in the 2014 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking out, in line 15, the words “and who is not subject to chapter 152”, and inserting at the end of said subsection the following sentence:- “The family of a deceased public safety employee, who is subject to chapter 152, shall have the option to receive either the killed in the line of duty benefit or to receive benefits pursuant to chapter 152.”
