An Act relative to DOR audits on senior citizens.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

Section 3 of chapter 14 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2014 Official Edition, is hereby amended by adding the following paragraph:-

The commissioner shall not conduct any audit or compliance activity regarding any taxpayer of 80 years of age or more who is a resident of the commonwealth and whose gross annual income is less than $100,000.
