An Act to promote cost savings through the use of public water.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

Chapter 29 of the General Laws as appearing in the 2016 official edition is hereby amended by adding after section 71 the following section:-

Section 72. State funds shall not be used to purchase bottled water for use in facilities that are served by public water supplies or potable well water, except when required for safety, health or emergency situations.
