An Act relative to cybersecurity standards in government procurements.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

Chapter 30B of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2016 official edition, is hereby amended by adding the following section:-

“Section 24. (a) All contracts, subcontracts, or procurements made by the Commonwealth or any of its quasi government agencies or independent agencies involving a technological component shall comply with regulations of the Commerce Control List (CCL) as established by the Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS) at the United States Department of Commerce.

(b) This section shall only apply to contracts, subcontracts, or procurements of over $1,000,000.”
