An Act to establish standards for medical gas piping systems.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

The Massachusetts Board of Examiners of Plumbers and Gasfitters, under the terms of Chapter 248 CMR, will be authorized to oversee and set standards for all work on medical gas and vacuum piping systems located after the source valve in medical facilities. All regulations promulgated subject to this section shall be consistent with National Fire Protection Association healthcare facilities code (NFPA 99).
