An Act requiring health clubs to display their membership fees.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
Section 1. Section 78 of Chapter 93 of the Massachusetts General Laws is hereby amended by adding the following new paragraph:
A Health Club shall be required to have their membership categories clearly posted for consumers to view. Such sign or poster shall contain the cost per category. Categories shall include senior citizen discounts, public employee discounts, second member of a family discount, new member fees, and any other membership fee categories that the Health Club might offer to consumers.
