An Act relative to Department of Public Utilities Commissioners.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1: Section 2 of Chapter 25 of the Massachusetts General Laws, as appearing in the 2016 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting after the word “matters,” in line 12, the following words:- “and not fewer than one member shall have background or expertise in renewable energy.”

SECTION 2: Section 2 of Chapter 25 of the Massachusetts General Laws, as appearing in the 2016 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting after the word “activities,” in line 25, the following words:- “with a particular focus on progress toward achieving compliance with the Global Warming Solutions Act, and reaching one-hundred percent renewable energy,”
