An Act relative to renewable power.

 

 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

 Section 2. Section 11F(c) of Chapter 25A of the Massachusetts General Laws is hereby amended by inserting after section 9, the following subsection: -

 

 Section 2. 10) Hydropower which has been procured under long-term contracts approved by the Department of Public Utilities under Section 83D of An Act Relative to Green Communities, St. 2008, c.169, as amended by St. 2016, c. 188, ยง 12. The compliance obligation under Section 11F(a) shall be increased by an amount equal to the quantity of eligible power generated under this section in the previous year.
