An Act relative to promoting energy storage in the Commonwealth.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 3 of chapter 25A, as amended by section 9 of chapter 227 of the acts of 2018, is hereby amended by striking out in the definition of “Qualified energy storage system” the following:- on or after January 1, 2019
SECTION 2. Said section 3, as amended by section 10 of chapter 227 of the acts of 2018, is hereby further amended by striking out in the definition of “Qualified RPS resource” the following:- or (ii) commenced commercial operation on or after January 1, 2019
