An Act relative to double poles.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 34B of chapter 164 of the Genera l Laws, as appearing in the 2008 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting after the word “pole;” in line 5, the following:
"provided further, that a city or town may enforce this section by the enactment of a local ordinance or bylaw prohibiting double poles beyond the ninety days authorized by this section, violation of which may be punishable by a fine not to exceed a maximum two hundred dollars per occurrence, per day."
