An Act to expand membership opportunities in local cultural councils.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
Section 1. Section 58 of Chapter 10 of the General Laws be amended by striking out the second sentence in the fourth paragraph and inserting the following: -"The chief appointing authority and members of the local appropriating authority, as defined in M.G.L. Chapter 59, Section 21C, cannot serve as council members."
