An Act relative to the Type II noise abatement priority list.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, the department of transportation shall conduct a noise attenuation study of traffic-related noise impacts on cities and towns located along interstate highways including but not limited to Bedford, Burlington, and Woburn. The department shall determine any additional sites that meet the criteria of the Type II Noise Abatement Priority List and update said priority list.
