An Act authorizing certain officials in the town of Hull to issue 1-day licenses for the sale of alcoholic beverages and common victualler and entertainment licenses.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1. Subsection F of section 3 of chapter 8 of the acts of 1989 is hereby amended by adding the following 2 sentences:-  The chair, vice-chair or clerk of the licensing authority may issue, on such terms and conditions as they deem appropriate, 1-day licenses for the sale of alcoholic beverages under section 14 of chapter 138 of the General Laws, common victualler licenses under section 2 of chapter 140 of the General Laws and entertainment licenses under sections 177, 181 and 183A of said chapter 140.  The granting of any such license shall be announced at the next regular meeting of the licensing authority.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
