An Act increasing the declared homestead exemption.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

Section 1 of chapter 188 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2016 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking out, in lines 15, 21, 25, 41 and 47 the figure “$500,000” and inserting in place thereof, in each instance, the following figure:- $750,000.
