Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Chapter 29 of the General Laws is hereby amended by inserting after section 2VVVV, as inserted by section 41 of chapter 133 of the acts of 2016, the following section:-
Section 2WWWW. There shall be a Marijuana Addiction Treatment Fund. The fund shall be administered by the commissioner of public health. There shall be credited to the fund an amount equal to $30,000,000 of the excise taxes on the sale of marijuana or marijuana products collected by the commissioner of revenue pursuant to section 2 of chapter 64N.
