An Act authorizing the town of Bedford to release a portion of a certain conservation restriction.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. (a) Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, the town of Bedford, acting by and through its conservation commission, may release approximately 1.86 acres of land, consisting of the parcels shown as Parcel S-1 and Parcel S-2 on a plan of land on file with the clerk of the town of Bedford entitled “Health and Life Care Facility, Amended Conservation Restriction Exhibit, Old Billerica Road Bedford, MA”, dated February 2019 and prepared by Goldsmith, Prest & Ringwall, Inc., from a conservation restriction granted to the town by Carleton-Willard Homes, Inc. in an instrument recorded with the Middlesex south registry of deeds in book 14366, page 209.
(b) As consideration for the release authorized in subsection (a), approximately 3.34 acres of land currently owned by Carleton-Willard Homes, Inc., consisting of the parcels shown as Parcel A-1, Parcel A-2, and Parcel A-3 on the plan of land described in said subsection (a), shall be added to the conservation restriction described in said subsection (a).
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
