An Act relative to state assistance for funeral expenses.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
Section 9 of chapter 117A of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2016 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking out, in lines 10 and 11, the words “and final disposition does not exceed $3,500” and inserting in place thereof the following words:- establishment excluding non-funeral establishment charges (cash advances) does not exceed $7,000.
