An Act relative to health insurance benefits for state employees.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
Section 5 of chapter 32A of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2016 Official Edition, is hereby amended by adding the following paragraph:-
Eligible employees who apply for coverage within 10 days of the first day of employment shall be insured effective the first day of employment.
