An Act relative to campaign fundraising for state representatives.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1. Section 6A of chapter 55 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2016 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking out clauses (e) and (f) and inserting in place thereof the following clause:-

(e) a candidate for state senator, state representative, county commissioner, governor’s councillor, district attorney, clerk of courts, register of probate, registrar of deeds or any other county officer- $18,750.

SECTION 2. Section 1 shall take effect on January 1, 2021.
