An Act relative to municipal parking.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
The Secretary of Executive office of Housing and Economic Development, in consultation with the Commissioner of the Department of Revenue, shall issue a report relative to the ways state government agencies can expand the availability of business district parking within urban areas and file that report with the Clerks of the House and Senate on or before November 30, 2019. This report may review tax incentives, grants, and a special tax status for private lot owners with some level of public use or benefit.
