An Act ensuring fairness in local MBTA assessments.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

Section 9 of chapter 161A of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2016 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting after the figure “1”, in line 14, the following words:- ; provided however, that no city or town hosting at least 1 MBTA station shall be assessed with a weighted percentage less than that of 1 of the 51 cities and towns.
