An Act relative to sewer regulations in the town of Auburn.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1. Chapter 708 of the acts of 1963 is hereby amended by striking out section 10 and inserting in place thereof the following section:

Section 10. The board may prescribe rules and regulations for: (1) the connection of estates and buildings with sewers, and (2) the inspection of the materials, the construction, alteration and use of all connections entering into such sewers. Any person who violates any such rule or regulation shall be punished by a fine of not less than $20 nor more than $500 for each violation. Said rules and regulations shall not take effect until said rules and regulations have been filed with the clerk of the town of Auburn and in the office of the town of Auburn sewer division for 21 days and posted in their entirety on the town of Auburn's website.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
