Driscoll, Jr., that the Department of Conservation and Recreation be authorized to establish a memorial bench in Pope John Paul II Park in the city of Boston in memory of Robert M. “Bobby” Mudge.  Environment, Natural Resources and Agriculture.

An Act establishing a memorial bench in Pope John Paul II Park in the city of Boston in memory of Robert M. “Bobby” Mudge.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

The department of conservation and recreation shall erect and maintain a black metal memorial bench in Pope John Paul II Park Reservation, in the area of the park facing Courtland Circle in the town of Milton, in memory of Robert M. “Bobby” Mudge, and shall design a suitable plaque to affix to the bench that shall note that the bench is “In memory of Robert M. “Bobby” Mudge, a decorated United States Marine Corps veteran of the Vietnam war, and resident of the town of Milton for 30 years, who walked in Pope John Paul II Park every day, and fished in the Neponset River”.
