An Act ensuring equitable MSBA incentives.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1. Section 10 of chapter 70 of the General Laws is hereby amended by adding the following subsection:-

(d) Notwithstanding the first sentence of this section, in the case of an approved school project where the Base Percentage (A) + Community Income Factor (B1) + Community Property Wealth Factor (B2) + Community Poverty Factor (B3) pursuant to this section equal 80 per cent or more, the incentive percentage (C) points awarded pursuant to the regulations of the authority to the project shall be added to 80 per cent and the reimbursement percentage for the project may exceed 80 per cent.
