An Act authorizing the town of Leicester to continue the employment of Paul S. Doray.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, Paul S. Doray, currently interim police lieutenant of the town of Leicester, may continue to serve in the position of police sergeant or a higher rank until August 31, 2022; provided, however, that he is mentally and physically capable of performing the duties of his office. No further deductions shall be made from the regular compensation of Paul S. Doray under chapter 32 of the General Laws for any service subsequent to August 31, 2020, and upon retirement, he shall receive a superannuation retirement allowance equal to that which he would have been entitled had he retired on that date.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
