By Messrs. Hecht of Watertown and Lawn of Watertown, a petition (accompanied by bill, House, No. 4241) of Jonathan Hecht, John J. Lawn, Jr., and William N. Brownsberger (with the approval of the town council) that the city known as the town of Watertown be authorized to grant fifteen additional licenses for the sale of all alcoholic beverages to be drunk on the premises.  Consumer Protection and Professional Licensure.  [Local Approval Received.]

An Act authorizing the city known as the town of Watertown to grant 15 additional licenses for the sale of alcoholic beverages to be drunk on the premises.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1. Subsection (b) of section 1 of chapter 73 of the acts of 2016 is hereby amended by striking out, in line 6, the words “15 additional licenses” and inserting in place thereof the words “30 additional licenses”.

SECTION 2. Clause (4) of said subsection (b) of said chapter 73 is hereby amended by striking out, in line 19, the words “8 licenses” and inserting in place thereof the words “23 licenses”.

SECTION 3. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
