An Act authorizing the town of Plainfield to continue the employment of Fire Chief David Alvord.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, David Alvord, Chief of the Plainfield Fire Department, may continue to serve in the position until he reaches 72 years of age or the date of his retirement or until his non-reappointment, whichever occurs first. No further deduction shall be made from the regular compensation of David Alvord in connection with his service to the town for retirement or pension purposes under Chapter 32 of the General Laws for any service subsequent to his reaching the age of 65, or take any action relative thereto.
