An Act in relation to the Town of Milford authorizing the hiring of a Chief of Police.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, as to the appointment of any police chief in the town of Milford, the board of selectmen shall only appoint from among such list of finalists as recommended by the police chief selection review committee so authorized under the general by-laws of the town.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
