SECTION 1. Chapter 111G of the General Laws, asĀ appearing in the 2018 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting after section 2 the following section:-
Section 2A. The division shall establish a uniform rolling process for the approval of autism specialty service provider agencies that are authorized to provide, and are eligible for reimbursement for, early intensive behavioral intervention services to children who have been diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder and who are currently served by the early intervention program established under this chapter; provided, however, that the division shall either approve or deny such an application no later than 60 days following receipt of an application for certification.
SECTION 2. The division of family health services of the department of health shall establish the certification process set forth in section 2A of chapter 111G of the General Laws not later than March 31, 2020.
