An Act providing further transparency in the siting of marijuana facilities.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1. Section 3(d) of chapter 94G of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2018 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting at the end of the paragraph in line 82 the following sentence:-

As part of the licensing application, an applicant shall provide certified documentation confirming the adoption of the Cannabis Control Commission’s first operating principle, “to conduct all processes openly and transparently,” agreed to by the potential licensee and all participating municipal officials.
