An Act authorizing the town of Leyden to continue the employment of Gilda Galvis.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
Notwithstanding the provisions of any general or special law to the contrary, Gilda Galvis, a member of the police department of the town of Leyden, may continue to serve in such position until the age of 70, or until the date of her retirement or non-reappointment, whichever occurs first; provided, however that no deductions from the regular compensation of Gilda Galvis shall be made under chapter 32 of the General Laws subsequent to her reaching the age of 65 and upon retirement she shall receive a superannuation retirement allowance equal to that which she would have been entitled had she retired at the age of 65.
