An Act relative to certain civil service positions in the Agawam public schools.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, all bargaining unit positions within the Agawam School Cafeteria Association shall be exempted from chapter 31 of the General Laws as authorized by the Settlement Agreement between the Agawam School Committee and the Agawam School Cafeteria Association.

SECTION 2. Section 1 of this act shall not impair the civil service status of any incumbent employee holding their position within the Agawam School Cafeteria Association on the effective date of this act.

SECTION 3. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
