An Act to allow elected officers in the town of Lee to serve on the Board of Public Works.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Sean Regnier moved (second by Dave Consolati) that the Town vote to authorize the Board of Selectmen to petition the General Court to revoke so much of Chapter 438 of the Acts of 1970 that prohibits elected officers in the Town of Lee from serving on the Board of Public Works, and specifically, removing the words "or any holder of an elected office in the Town of Lee" from said Act.
Motion PASSED after debate.
