An Act to amend the City of Everett Charter by giving the mayor a voice and a vote on the Everett School Committee.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

Be it ordered: By the City Council of Everett, Massachusetts, as follows:

SECTION 4-1: COMPOSITION, TERM OF OFFICE

(a) Composition- There shall be a school committee which shall consist of 10 members, including the Mayor in an ex officio capacity, with a voice and vote.

This act shall take effect upon its passage.
